G-Money II XL
The G-Money II XL is a custom big wave gun — the board he reaches for 99 out of 100 times when shaping for serious surf. Doc started refining the G-Money II XL in the Canary Islands over 10 years ago, and has shaped them since for some of the heaviest waves on the planet: Puerto Escondido, Todos Santos, Baja, the cold slabs of Ireland, the winter beach break at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, and the North Shore of Oahu.
The G-Money II XL combines lower nose rocker, a fuller outline up front, and added thickness under the chest to get you into the wave early and over the ledge with confidence. The tail is pulled in like a proper gun, with a clean double barrel concave running into vee and just the right amount of rocker out the back. The last third of the board tapers and is foiled out so cleanly that the front-end volume disappears under your feet. The board paddles insane, handles late drops, goes rail-to-rail with ease, and stays surprisingly maneuverable for its size.
Reach out and we'll work with you to dial in a custom gun for your size, ability, and the waves you're chasing.

What riders are saying:
"When it comes to barrel riding, especially in heavier waves, the G-Money II is the best gun for the job. I have been using them for years at heavy beach breaks. Doc leaves the foam in all the right places to give you paddle power for those steep drops, but once in the barrel, the board maneuvers amazing, allowing you to pump and weave through tricky beach break barrel sections. The G-Money II has been a game changer for my barrel riding." — Kurt Rist
"I have been riding the G-Money IIs for a long time and it is definitely one of my favorite surfboard models! I love everything about it — it helps you get in early in super heavy waves, even into mushy waves. It is super fast and responsive. In short, my G-Money IIs have been magical!" — Coco Nogales

PU Polyester
- The standard blank, offering a classic feel and smooth ride. Known for its flex and responsiveness in a variety of wave conditions.
- Polyester Blank
- Polyester Resin
Poly with Epoxy Resin
- Stronger than polyester resin and makes the board more durable.
- Polyester Blank
- Epoxy Resin
EPS Epoxy
- Great strength to weight ratio.
- Lighter and stronger than a polyester board in the same dimensions.
- Slightly more flotation.
Single Slot Channel
- A single slot channel is a singular, short groove starting about 10 inches from the tail and getting deeper as it exits out the end of the board.
Benefits:
- Improved Drive: The single slot channel helps direct water flow, providing the board with extra drive and speed, especially in smaller, weaker waves. A great alternative to having a center fin on twin or quad fins.
- Control: It offers enhanced control by channeling water more directly under the board, making it easier to maintain a stable line during turns.
- Versatility: This channel design is versatile, performing well in various wave conditions, from small beach breaks to bigger surf. Adds a little grip to your rip.
4 Channel
- A 4-channel design features four grooves on the bottom of the board. A slightly longer center channel. The outside channels are a little shorter starting from the back quarter of the board, starting shallow and progressively get deeper as it exits the tail.
Benefits:
- Speed and Lift: The 4 channels create lift by directing water flow more efficiently, allowing the board to plane better on the water's surface, which results in increased speed.
- Enhanced Grip: This design provides additional grip and hold during turns, making it excellent for carving and generating speed through sections of the wave.
- Responsiveness: The configuration of the channels offers more responsiveness in turns, allowing for sharper, more precise maneuvers.
- Aesthetic Appeal: High-gloss shine enhances visual appeal and makes the board stand out.
- Durability: Offers a little bit of strength and durability.
Protects the crucial area of the board under your back foot. It’s worth the price if you are hard on your boards and have a tendency to crush the tail with your back foot.
