The “Spiciest” of all the Flying Turtle templates!

Customers wanted to catch waves as easily as the the other Turtle models do, yet have an overall outline that works for more top to bottom waves, thus the Spicy Flying Turtle. This board is an alternative to your standard performance shortboard template. A touch more rocker, a touch more pulled-in nose, a touch less volume, makes for a “spicy” recipe. Add a pulled in swallow tail with a single slot channel and you get a performance combo that holds with excellent release! A responsive board that catches waves easily and holds its rail in good waves. Get it with five fin boxes, as you’ll want to change it between thruster and quad configurations as the waves dictate! If you are tired with your standard performance outline, but still want a board that has the lines to hold in mental waves, get the Spicy Flying Turtle!

Single Slot Channel

A single slot channel is a singular, short groove starting about 10 inches from the tail and getting deeper as it exits out the end of the board.

Benefits:

Improved Drive: The single slot channel helps direct water flow, providing the board with extra drive and speed, especially in smaller, weaker waves. A great alternative to having a center fin on twin or quad fins.

4 Channel

A 4-channel design features four grooves on the bottom of the board. A slightly longer center channel. The outside channels are a little shorter starting from the back quarter of the board, starting shallow and progressively get deeper as it exits the tail.
