NDR
The NDR is the one-board quiver killer. Our most versatile shortboard, custom shaped to rip equally well in small mushy waves and steeper, more powerful surf.
The NDR was originally designed for smaller surf, but the board's secret is what isn't extreme about it. The nose and tail rocker are relaxed. The bottom runs a very slight single-to-double concave. The rails are neutral, more tapered than boxy. Nothing on this template is overbuilt for one specific condition. The most aggressive design element is how subtly the volume is foiled from nose to tail, with the foam placed exactly where you need it for paddling.
Those neutral design choices ended up doing something Doc didn't fully expect. Once the team riders started taking the NDR into bigger surf, they realized the board paddles and holds up in waves much larger than its original design intent. What started as a small-wave shape turned into a one-board quiver. A daily driver that scales from chest-high beach break to overhead points without missing a beat.
The NDR is available with a swallow tail (original) or a round tail (later addition that opens up even bigger waves), and shapes with a 5-fin box setup so you can run it as a thruster when conditions call for vertical surfing or switch to a quad for speed and looseness in lined-up waves. Two tail options. Two fin configurations. One board that legitimately does everything.
If you're tired of swapping boards every time the swell shifts, this is the one.
